Reassembly: the product is put back together with the reconditioned or new parts.

Testing and quality control: after reassembly the product is tested thoroughly to check that it meets the specifications and the quality standards.

Cosmetic work: where necessary, cosmetic improvements are made so the product looks like new.

Packaging and warranty: the product is usually supplied in new packaging and with a warranty comparable to that of a new product.

Refurbished

Thorough inspection: every part of the product is inspected carefully for defects, damage or faults.

Repair and replacement: worn or damaged parts are repaired or replaced with new or reconditioned ones.

Cleaning and cosmetic work: the product is cleaned thoroughly and any cosmetic defects are put right so it looks as good as new.

Functional testing: after the repair the product is tested extensively to make sure it works properly and meets our quality standards.

Warranty: refurbished products usually come with a warranty period, ranging from a few months to a year depending on the seller.

Refurbished - as good as new: the product shows no or only minimal signs of wear, scratches or cosmetic defects and looks like new.

Refurbished - A grade: the product may show a few small cosmetic defects such as light scratches, but these do not affect how it works.

Refurbished - B grade: the product may show some visible signs of wear, scratches, dents or discolouration, but these do not affect how it works.

Refurbished - C grade: the product may show considerable signs of wear, scratches, dents or other cosmetic defects, which affect how it looks. These do not affect how it works.
