Lenovo ThinkPad X Series

The X Series is the ThinkPad you forget you are carrying. Around 13 inches, comfortably under a kilo and a half, and built around a battery that lasts a working day. The keyboard is the same as on the larger models - no savings were made there.

Who it is for

For people who are on the move more than they are at a desk: account managers, consultants, anyone moving between sites and meeting rooms. At home or at the office you connect it to a dock and carry on working on a large screen.

The trade-off

A small size means fewer connections and less room for cooling. For office work, video calls and working in a browser that is no obstacle. If there is heavier computing to be done, look at the T Series or a mobile workstation.
